The theme of the concert is American choral music from the 20th century.

Delft Blue made the great crossing under the direction of conductor Anne E. de Bruijn and went on a journey of discovery to famous American composers of the 20th century, such as Charles Ives, Samuel Barber and Philip Glass, and to upcoming American composition talent Eric Whitacre. For that trip, a percussion group and a dance ensemble were invited to participate in the festive closing concert.

This special concert even made the front page (click here) of the city newspaper of Delft!
